Being married to Mr. Wow Yoda is pretty awesome, but what is more awesome is that I get to interview him from the comfort of my own couch. For those of you who don’t know, Mr. Wow Yoda is Brian, one of the original Crew members of Nerd Culture Podcast, and one of the biggest nerds I’ve ever met. But he’s a good egg! So, let’s see what makes Mr. Wow Yoda tick!
Me: At what age did you start playing video/computer games?
Brian: Around 3 or 4 years of age.
Me: What video game system do you like best, why?
Brian: I like the computer the best because of variety and prices. The computer is also more powerful!
Me: What makes you Mr. Wow Yoda?
Brian: The name came about when I helped David with his Paladin (making it a more efficient killer!), and other WoW stuff.
Me: When did you first play the TCG Magic: the Gathering?
Brian: I started when I was about 8 or 9 years old. My brother brought home a deck and we split the deck in half so we could both play.
Me: Why are you so crazy about Diablo 3?
Brian: Diablo 3 has different abilities, skills, and runes. There are six different characters to choose from and the possibilities are endless!
Me: What is your favorite type of food?
Brian: Pizza or burgers.
Me: What games were your favorite to play with your brothers when you were younger, and now?
Brian: When we were younger, Half-Life multiplayer. When we get to play now, we try to play Diablo 3. Oh, when we were younger we also used to play Mission Force Cyberstorm.
Me: What games do you and your wife play together the most?
Brian: Hearthstone, Magic: the Gathering, and Minecraft.
Me: What do you think of Hearthstone?
Brian: It’s a step in the right direction for Blizzard and it’s free to play. I’m looking forward to possible expansions and maybe a Deathknight and Monk class.
Me: Will you still be playing video games when you’re old?
Brian: DEFINITELY! They’re entertaining and relaxing.
Me: If you could be a character from any video game, card games included, who would you be and why?
Brian: The Druid from Diablo 2. I like the ability to transform into a werewolf or werebear.
Me: In WoW, did you have a pet?
Brian: I had a lot of pets, but not as much as David!
Me: What makes you a nerd?
Brian: My love for everything that is sci-fi or fantasy.
Me: Which Star Wars character would you be and why?
Brian: Coran Horn, because he was good with the blaster & lightsaber. Also, he was very good with deceiving others.
Me: What’s your favorite color in Magic: the Gathering?
Brian: Blue! Blue can change the tide of battle to get the upper hand.
Me: Who’s your favorite planeswalker?
Brian: Ajani Goldmane, because he gains life and creates creatures, along with beefing them up.
Me: What is your favorite thing to watch on Netflix?
Brian: Anime that consists of action genres suits me the best.
