Welcome to another installment of Behind the Counter, our series that showcases the great comic and nerd culture shops around Australia.
Classic Comics was the first comic store I shopped at and had a standing order with so they will always have a special place in my heart. It is a little hidden away, but it is one of the most well loved stores in Melbourne and definitely worthy of a visit. You wont be disappointed.
Instead of emailing the questions, I went to Classic and interviewed Jarrod and Looch. (special thanks to lovely Crystal for transcribing!)
Armageddon Expo had another successful show this past weekend and I was there to experience it.
As always it was a great show – quality guests, well organised & plenty to do/see. And from what I heard, a record attendance – way to go Melbourne!
And as far as the media were concerned…I was a tad critical of how they handled media last year, but this year they pulled out all the stops for the media and I am unbelievably grateful to them. Special mention to Scott – you rock dude.
As always I took some photos of the many great cosplay costumers so I could show them here for you. In fact, I took so many I’ll have to show the rest in another post 🙂
